The XTREME GARDENING Program

Organic gardening has never been easier. What’s our secret? Rather than pumping crops with unnecessary amounts of nutrients, employ the help of soil microbes to do the hard work for you! Healthy soil is one that is living teaming with bacteria and fungi that help plants develop, grow and produce better crops. Experience higher yields and secondary metabolites while also increasing plant nutrient efficiency and sustainability. Get XTREME results when gardening with MYKOS®, AZOS®, XTREME TEA, and CALCARB!

Follow this feeding program to get the most out of your gardening experience!

Rooting

AZOS: For best results at the beginning stage of your plant, apply Azos to roots, clones, cuttings, and seeds.

  • Seed Germination: Thoroughly mix 1 tbsp of Azos and 2 tbsp of water, place seeds into Azos solution for quicker germination. Once the seed has sprouted, transplant root into the desired medium.

  • Seed Furrow: Making a furrow in your soil medium, sprinkle Azos along the furrow before applying seed.

  • Clones and Cuttings: 1 tbsp of Azos per 2 tbsp. of water (1:2). Dip your cutting into Azos cloning solution for 15 seconds. Drench your plugs in a solution of 4 tbsp of Azos per 1 gallon for 10 minutes. Set your new cutting into your plug and pour the leftover solution into newly planted plugs.

  • Cloning Machines: Add 1 tbsp of Azos per 1 gallon of water. Mix thoroughly and let it circulate through the system for 24 hours a day up to 5 days until new roots appear. Transplant clones into the desired medium.

***Azos should not be combined with any other cloning products***

MYKOS: Incorporating mycorrhizal fungi early in your plant's life can help increase uptake of nutrients for a faster root establishment.

  • Seed Furrow: Sprinkle granular Mykos along the furrow before applying your seed, 1 tbsp Mykos per foot.

  • Sprinkle Mykos directly below seed placement.

XTREME GARDENING Tip:

  • Seed Furrow: Sprinkle both Mykos & Azos along the furrow/transplant hole before applying your seed.

Planting

MYKOS: Mixing Mykos into your growing medium will provide a symbiotic relationship between your roots and nutrient. Mykos is available in a granular, water-soluble, and a root pak for different types of growing media.

  • Amending Medium: Thoroughly mix 1 lb. of Mykos per 4 cu ft (113.2 liters) of your growing medium; i.e. soil & coco.

  • Transplant hole: Sprinkle 2 tbsp. of granular Mykos directly under and around the root ball; i.e. soil, coco, rock wool.

  • Hydroponic: Apply 2-3 Mykos Root Paks placed around the root ball per plant site.

***Mykos cannot be over-applied and works best with direct root contact. Not recommended for use with high phosphorus chemical fertilizers over 10%***

AZOS: Azos acts as a growth stimulant, catalyzing the release of a natural growth hormone (Indole-3 Acetic Acid) in plants.

  • Transplant hole: Sprinkle 1-2 tbsp of Azos directly under and around roots for soil, coco, and rock wool mediums. Establish direct root contact for the best results.

  • Hydroponics: Dust root ball with 1-2 tsp covering as much of the root mass as possible.

XTREME GARDENING Tip:

  • Mix 2 tbsp of Mykos and 2 tbsp of Azos onto a paper plate; roll moist root ball onto mix covering the sides and bottom. Pour in leftover Mykos & Azos mix into transplant hole and plant dusted root ball.

Growth/Vegetation

MYKOS WP: If you want to introduce your already established plant with mycorrhizal fungi, Mykos WP is a great way to add more microbial biology to your growing medium.

  • Root Drench: Add 3 tbsp of WP per 5-gallons of water and mix thoroughly. Apply at least 2 cups of WP solution to the base of each plant.

  • Hydroponic Reservoirs: Add 8 tbsp of WP per 50-gallons of water. Keep well-oxygenated/agitated with air stones and/or pump. Repeat process with every reservoir change.

*** Apply Mykos WP weekly up to the second week of blooming***

AZOS: In the form of a water-soluble powder, Azos can stimulate growth while boosting root development.

  • Root Drench: Add 2 tbsp of Azos per 5-gallons of water.

  • Reservoirs: Add 8 tbsp of Azos per 50-gallon water.

***Apply Azos weekly until bloom***

Maintenance

TEA BREW: Microbial Bio-Stimulant, an easy to brew blend of organic matter that is packed full of healthy soil microbes.

  • Quick Brew: Add 1 tea brew pouch into 5-gallons of water. Tear open and pour 1 microbe food pak (paper package) into compost solution. Squeeze and massage tea brew bag for several minutes until water is black. Pour and use immediately into soil medium at the base of each plant.

  • Full-Aeration Brew: Add 1 tea brew pouch into 5-gallons of water. Tear open and pour 1 microbe food pak (paper package) into compost solution. Squeeze and massage tea brew bags until contents are fully soaked. Allow the solution to brew for 24 hours at 65-70°F with the brewer and/or with a bubbling air source.

Application:

  • Root Drench: Apply 2 cups of tea solutions at the base of each plant. 16 cups (1 gallon) feeds up to 8 plants.

  • Reservoirs: Add tea solution at the rate of 2 cups per gallon of nutrient solution. Tea may also be diluted with water at a ratio of 1 gallon of tea per 10 gallons of water.

***Apply every 10 days throughout the growing season including final week prior to harvest***

CALCARB: Foliar nutrient booster, Calcarb is a natural source of Calcium that can help strengthen cell walls and regulate the amount of water passing through making it more drought resistant.

  • Foliar Spray: Thoroughly mix 1 tbsp of Calcarb per gallon of water. Spray the underside of plant leaves (stomata) and apply weekly. It can leave a beneficial white residue of calcium on your leaves, may be cleaned off with water after 36 hours.

  • Apply once a week for the best results.

Bloom

Let nature take its course, the biology is already at work!

  • Maintain biodiversity in soil by applying Xtreme Tea Brews weekly.

  • Calcium levels in fruiting and flowering plants are highly important for proper crop production. Apply Calcarb weekly, on larger foliage, to maintain proper calcium levels.
